A normal morning in the Johnson home:
Lucas, Judy and their eldest daughter, Paula, sipping coffee and eating toast amidst tall piles of medical bills that dominate the kitchen table. Ever-absent is the youngest daughter, Jasmina, who lies mute, immobile and terminally ill in her bedroom upstairs. But this morning is different. Jasmina comes downstairs to claim that a benevolent spirit has healed her.
